How cool are these?
The Bertha Project is a humanitarian project that is a way to get supplies directly to communities following a natural disaster.

What's old is new again is surely something that the Bertha Project is happy to introduce back into communities. The trucks will be equipt with removable fire truck bells to announce their presence in the community. The sound of the bell is a familiar and nostalgic one in American culture, and it can be heard from a long distance. This makes it a very effective way to get people's attention following a disaster.

The tradition of the bell heard in communities during the height of summer was first seen on ice cream trucks dating back to the early 1900s. At that time, ice cream was sold from horse-drawn carts. The driver would ring a bell to let people know that he was coming, and children would come running to buy ice cream.
Today, that heartwarming tradition is being borrowed by the Bertha Project to notify devastated communities that we are operating close by.

Here are some additional reasons why we decided to outfit Bertha & Kiki with "Announcement Front Bumper Bells."

-
To create a sense of hope for communities without communications that help is in the area.
-
To let people know that the trucks have supplies to offer. "No bells, no supplies."
-
To attract residents from a distance to be prepared to stand at their curbside to receive supplies.
-
To create a sense of community as neighbors help take supplies up steps to the elderly or disabled.
-
To evoke nostalgia for those who remember that the sound of a bell ringing in the community always put smiles on faces.

The sound of the ice cream truck bell is a familiar and beloved one. It is a reminder of happy childhood memories, and it is a symbol of summer fun. The Bertha Project hopes to inspire those feelings again by bringing lifesaving supplies to those in need.
Humanitarian aid images serve a vital function in raising awareness and eliciting action toward addressing significant humanitarian crises.
These images provide a visual representation of the efforts being made to alleviate suffering and hardships in communities affected by natural disasters.
The "We Support" image was designed to draw attention, evoke compassion, and inspire empathy. It offers companies a means of commemorating their aid efforts in support of these communities.
Ultimately, the objective of the "We Support" image is to play a crucial role in bringing about change and making a meaningful impact on the lives of those impacted by unexpected crises. Your purchase will be used and appreciated by those you may never meet.
